Logan & Tara – Canmore Wedding Photography

As I’m sitting here writing this post it is -19˚C outside and over the last four days it’s been even colder than that.  Fortunately for Logan & Tara it was the day after their wedding when the weather went from balmy to arctic.  Weather aside, Logan & Tara’s wedding day was very laid back and low key.  It was held at the Bear & Bison Inn in Canmore which was a beautiful and intimate setting and allowed all of the youngest guests to burn off energy and explore.  Thanks to L & T for having us join you on your big day and congratulations!

The bride and her sleepy little girl snuck in some cuddles.

Trying the rings on for size.

It Doesn’t Look Like Winter

Every Christmas season we make a trip up to my parent’s home in the Peace Country and often it is quite frigid and there is usually lots of snow.  This year was definitely an exception since most days it felt like spring and even on one of the days it poured rain like it was June.  Now I will admit that the landscape was rather dreary and it didn’t look like Christmas but we got a different kind of treat with outdoor skating for miles.  Not only was every dugout and muskeg like glass but so was every driveway and back road.  This Christmas will certainly be one to remember.  Here are some photos from the excursion.  Oh and for those wondering what sort of infestation my parents have in their house, it’s grandchildren.  It’s out of control.

Nana’s Bird Song Bible kept the kids quite entertained.

Wyatt’s upset that it’s not as smooth as arena ice.

A little blip in the power during supper prep.

Ellie wasn’t quite feeling herself.

The long pass.

Give the man a camera and he thinks he’s a rockstar.

Ken & Jillian – Engagement Photography

We got a great sunny day for Ken & Jillian’s engagement session although it was a bit breezy.  Fortunately we fit this session in before all of our snow melted away as well.   I did love watching these two together and I can’t wait for their wedding day to witness their banter again!

Rockin’ Awesome Christmas

I hope everyone had a rockin’ awesome Christmas!

Layflat Photobook

I received this book in the mail last week and was pretty excited about how it turned out so I took some photos to share.  It is an 8×8 photobook with 60 pages and has a layflat binding to eliminate the gutter.  I’m pretty I will be doing my own family’s book just like this one!
