As I’m sitting here writing this post it is -19˚C outside and over the last four days it’s been even colder than that.  Fortunately for Logan & Tara it was the day after their wedding when the weather went from balmy to arctic.  Weather aside, Logan & Tara’s wedding day was very laid back and low key.  It was held at the Bear & Bison Inn in Canmore which was a beautiful and intimate setting and allowed all of the youngest guests to burn off energy and explore.  Thanks to L & T for having us join you on your big day and congratulations!

Kristi’s family are close friends of ours and so we were very honored to photograph her wedding just 10 days ago at the Delta Bessborough in Saskatoon.  We got ourselves a smoking hot day that felt like 37˚C, even so, it was better than rain!  This wedding was certainly unique for Scott and I since we knew so many of the guests but also because we had our children along not to mention our 7 week old Ellie.  Needless to say there were some extra challenges having a nursing infant but Kristi and her family greatly accommodated our unique situation.  Also, a big thanks to Grandma and Grandpa for watching all the kids for the day!  Kristi made a stunning bride and she put together a gorgeous wedding that was a treat to photograph.  Here is the story of the day.

I can’t quite figure out why I like the shot on the left so much but I do..I remember when Scott and I just started dating, Kristi’s brother Mark teased me saying that I obviously hadn’t known Scott long because I still laughed at all his jokes.  Apparently, I’m not the only one.  ;)

The day of Tyler & Lindsay’s wedding the city was engulfed in smoke from the BC fires and though it is unpleasant to breathe in it, it made for some lovely light!  I really enjoyed spending the day with these two and their wedding party and truly appreciated Lindsay’s calm demeanor.  It sure made my job a treat!  Thanks for having us along and congratulations to you both!
